Upon returning from Brooklyn to their hometown of Chevy Chase, our clients sought to reimagine an untouched 1940s colonial.  As they embarked on the large renovation ahead, they brought us on alongside their architect and build team.  A new addition provided an expansive kitchen and living area, while the neighboring formal dining room was kept intentionally spacious for hosting family and friends.  To achieve the serene environment they sought, we incorporated the full spectrum of neutral hues from creamy whites to chestnut brown.  Rich textures, tone-on-tone wallpaper, and natural materials are punctuated by black and bronze finishes for a sophisticated feel.  Tailored silhouettes beside modern touches create a timeless and inviting space that will serve as a beautiful backdrop for this family for years to come.
